To import your stock in POSitive Point of Sale you first need to prepare the data to import.
PLEASE NOTE: What you import need to be correct else you will get problems later on.
Use the attached "Stock Import.csv" file to enter all your stock items into using the table below to explain the fields:

Data in the CSV file should not contain:
- / (a forward slash)
- \ (a back slash)
- ' (an apostrophe)
- " (a quote)
- , (NB: a comma)
Once you entered all your items in the CSV file, save it.
On the File menu select Import and then Stockcoeds (CSV)
Click the checkbox "1st Row contains column headers" then select the csv file and click the OK button. Once all items has been loaded, click the Import button.
Last but not the least, ensure you create the Suppliers and Categories you used in your Import sheet.
